The Work
Paver installation is the foundation of what North Lion does. We engineer every surface from the ground up — excavating to the correct depth, compacting a crushed-granite sub-base, and installing edge restraints that lock the field in place so pavers never dip, spread, or rut.
The result is a surface that handles Florida heat, heavy vehicle traffic, and seasonal rain without cracking the way poured concrete does. Individual pavers can even be lifted and reset if a utility line ever needs access underneath.

Engineered Sub-Base
Excavation, geotextile fabric, and compacted aggregate base rated for the load the surface will carry — driveways get a deeper base than walkways.
Edge Restraints
Rigid polymeric or concrete edge restraints hidden beneath the paver line to keep the field tight and prevent lateral movement.
Precision Laying
Tight joints, consistent patterns, and crisp cuts at curves and thresholds — no sloppy gaps or mismatched borders.
Joint Stabilization
Sweep-in polymeric sand locks joints against washout, weed growth, and ant mining.
